In June of 2023, Felicia and I flew to Colorado Springs to see Kendra who was working at Sky High Girl Scout Camp at Woodland Park, CO. She had been there for a month and was coming home at the end of July and leaving immediately for South Africa for 3 months so this was one of our few chances to see her from June to November.
Woodland Park is about 20 minutes NW of Colorado Springs. You go through Manitou Springs and past the Garden of the Gods Park and Pike’s Peak to get there. All very pretty and Felicia and I really enjoyed the cool weather and seeing our kid.
