In May of 2023, just days after she graduated from UNT, Kendra left for a summer job working at Sky High Girl Scout Camp in Woodland Park, CO.
Kendra borrowed Felicia’s jeep for the summer. Early in the morning, Kendra and Gabby took off to Colorado springs. Gabby flew home and Kendra drove in to Woodland Park.

Woodland Park is about 20 minutes NW of Colorado Springs. You go through Manitou Springs and past the Garden of the Gods Park and Pike’s Peak to get there. These are their pictures they sent home.
Over the 4th of July week, Kendra’s crew drove from Colorado up to Grand Teton National Park and then to Yellowstone National Park. It was a long 2-day drive each way. Here are some good pictures.
When Kendra drove home, she had her friend Diana from the Dallas area, a girl from Scotland and a girl from Zimbabwe in the jeep with her. She was leaving for South Africa 2 days after she got back home to Richardson. These are pictures of her with friends and sisters the night before she flew off to Africa.
