Trip to Tampere, Finland January 2015

In January, 2015, I headed back to Tampere, Finland with a new crew of guys.  It snowed every day but overall, it was not too cold.  It stayed just around freezing most of the time we were there.

 

We took the same route as we 1 month earlier.  I flew from DFW to JFK and then on to Helsinki.  Once we landed in Helsinki early in the morning, we took a train norther to Tampere and then rented a car at the train station in Tampere.  We had a brand-new BMW wagon with only 200 km on it.  We did return it in good condition even through we drove the wrong way a few times.

I travelled with KJ, Trinidad and Joe.  We stayed for a full 2 weeks; I was ready to get home when we were done

We took our good friend Arto out for dinner and he showed us Plevna, a good brew pub with lots of good Finnish foods. Trinidad, KJ, Arto and Joe. We were eating and drinking at Plevna in Tampere
Arto and I at the Karaoke Bar where every song was a hard rock song. Tampere is very big on hard rock bands and concerts
While I was out of town, Kendra took her driving test and got her learner’s permit. Watch out world! I was very sorry to miss the excitement, but Felicia kept me informed.
