Double decker buses are a great way to see a new city and see where you would like to go to later and are much better for a visitor than trying to drive and find a place to park.
I have been on double decker bus tours of London many times and see something new each time. There are Hop-on, Hop-off buses in London, Paris, New York City, Sydney, Edinburgh, etc.
