Canoes are a good way to get around if you have some family organization. We just do not get to canoe that much. I have never been in a kayak.
Felicia asked why the guy always gets to sit in back and steer the canoe. In Arkansas (1994), after we went over rapids sideways and then backwards, she let me steer the canoe. It looks like Susie and Larry did not do much better
In 2010, at Lake Louise in British Columbia, we canoed on some of the prettiest water on earth. It is turquoise colored because of the silt that is frozen in the glaciers that melt into the lake.
