For 18 months in 2018 until the Spring of 2020, I flew every Monday morning to Reno, Nevada and flew home late on Thursday. I lived and worked in Sparks, Nevada and stayed in casinos and hotels in Sparks and Reno during the week.
Sparks is a nice place and reminds me of West Texas. It does have very good views of the Sierra Nevada mountains on the California / Nevada border. The longer that I stayed there, the more I liked living in Sparks. I went through all of the seasons there and saw it turn into a very fast growing city, getting a lot of people trying to escape from California.
I went over the mountains and past the Lake Tahoe area to go to Folsom and Sacramento several times and went skiing at Mt Rose.
