Cairo Egypt Again January 1997

In January, 1997 I went back to Cairo Egypt to work with Dick Brannan, Joe Blanton, Juner Scioco and Habib.  We had the same driver we had before, Mr. Monsour, who drove us around Cairo, kept us out of trouble and helped us negotiate.

This trip was a strange, three country trip where I went to Finland, Portugal and then Egypt.  I started out in early January with Joe Begue and myself going to Helsinki, Finland.  Then we flew to Lisbon, Portugal for a few days.  Then I flew by myself from Lisbon to Rome and then into Cairo.  My trip started off with heavy coats and gloves but I left my cold weather gear with Begue when I headed for Cairo.

We stayed at the Sheraton Heliopolis again, it is a very nice hotel.  Went to see the pyramids and also shopped for souvenirs at the Khan Al-Khalili souq again.
