Rocky Mountain National Park July 2009 – Page 1

Rocky Mountain National Park – Page 1

I have been to Colorado quite a few times, but never during the summer.  We went in the middle of July to see some nice mountains and to cool down.  It was 103 degrees in Dallas when we left.  Felicia, Kendra, and I flew to Denver and drove up to Estes Park, which took about 2 hours.

Felicia found us another great cabin using the VRBO web site.  We have had good luck using VRBO several times now.  The cabin was in the town of Estes Park and had a river running through the backyard.  The river was the Big Thompson River, and it was ice cold.
