Canadian Rockies July 2010 – 1

In July of 2010, Felicia, Susie, Larry, and I decided to go back to British Columbia and Alberta to the Canadian Rockies.  We had last been to the Canadian Rocky Mountains in 1999, this time we had Kendra along with us.  We flew from Dallas to Calgary, drove an hour west to Banff and spent the next 10 days seeing as many mountains, glaciers, forests, bears, elk, and mountain goats as we could.  We spent 1 night in Banff, drove north, and spent 3 nights in Jasper, drove west and spent 3 nights at Terracana Ranch Resort near Mount Robson and then drove back south and spent 3 nights at a cabin between Banff and Lake Louise.  We stayed in cabins for the whole trip and found some very nice cabins that I would recommend to anybody.
