Flying from New Delhi back to Chicago, we went
right up over the North Pole. I had hoped that the
flight would continue on east from India to Japan
and then Dallas so we could say we had flown
around the world, but flying over the North Pole
isn't bad either.

Midnight in New Delhi Airport, Paul, Larry and
I had our pictures taken with the elephant,
which is an Indian good luck symbol

- I had bought the girls some cashmere and pashmina wool scarfs. The wool
is soft and rare and is woven from the wool from pashmina goats found in
the high mountains of northern India and Pakistan. The wool is woven by
hand into very soft scarves and wraps.
Pashmina comes from the wool at the throat of the goat and cashmere
comes from the belly of the goat. They are both very warm and very soft.

took us to a very nice Westin Hotel
there.
Food in the hotel was great but
since we had worked until very
late the night before and got up
at 4 AM that day, we did not do
much exploring
